Do I need a referral to see Dr. Navabi?
It depends on your insurance plan. Many HMO plans require a referral from your primary care physician, while most PPO plans do not. Please check with your insurance or call our office and we'll help you find out.
What insurance plans are accepted?
As part of UCLA Health, the practice accepts most major insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan, so please call the office at (310) 542-6333 with your insurance details and we'll verify your coverage before your visit.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of your current medications with doses, and any recent lab results or imaging related to your condition. If you use a glucose meter or continuous glucose monitor, bring it or its data with you.
Is care available in Persian (Farsi)?
Yes. Dr. Navabi is fluent in Persian and is happy to conduct your visit in either English or Persian — whichever you're most comfortable with.

The office is located at 3445 Pacific Coast Hwy, Suite 100, Torrance, CA 90505, with parking available on site. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
